Guest dshaugney Posted August 31, 2004 Report Share Posted August 31, 2004 When I get into the diag mode it shows the option 8 for restore RUU but when I select it or press 8 the phone automatically powers off and on again...goes for the orange blue scene and then gets stuck at a white screen. I've tried it with and w/o the sd cards...and tried different boot loaders.... poop. Anyone? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Palindrome Posted August 31, 2004 Report Share Posted August 31, 2004 Try (re)installing the update. That will automatically hard reset your phone. Perhaps you could do a Clear Storage in the Start Menu. Haven't used it myself but I would think that would hard reset the phone as well (return to manufacturer default)? If I restart normally it will it's low on storage memory and the left softkey will have Unlock written but nothing happens if I press it.
