First real (!) picture of T-Mobile SDA aka Feelers

Just noticed that not only are ther soft key/home/back buttons different but also the silver trim that goes round the front of the device on the standard feeler does not go across the bottom. Did T-mobile request a modified version of the feeler or is this a different device completely (higly unlikely.

Upon closer inspection of the high re shots of the SDA, it's definitely the same device just modified to T-Mobile Spec

This is a major coup for Windows Mobile. Will be good for customers that there is now more competition in the sale of WM Smartphones in Europe.

Although yet again operator customisation may not be to everyone's taste! Those 4 keys on the top look too small.

For Plantagoo and others...

If you are taking the SIM free price form the flyer sheet, what it ACTUALLY is saying is the T-Mobile 24 months IN ADVANCE tariff by the look of it. A kind of UpFront Contract like we used to have here in the UK with some networks.

If so, that's well removed from SIM free mate...

Though then again,

"ohne 24 monats vertrag"

Actually means WITHOUT 24 MONTH CONTRACT,

So I'm a bit confused...

I have heard some people on this forum describe this phone, not as an alternative, but as the replacement of C500/qtek 8010. Something about to many bugs and complaints on the C500/qtek 8010 that this phone will be sold instead..?? Can anyone explain that to me?

The bug list for the C500 is here. I think this is probably the new version, kinda like the E100 replaced the original SPV. However, it could also just be an alternative, I suppose.

The new design of the Feeler is at least slightly better than the first pictures we saw. Even though I'm going to be my usual critical self and say it resembels the T630 a tad to much. I see that phone everywhere I look, so many people have it, you dont even have to own it to get tired of it.. I wish Qtek went with something a bit more..uhh..less T630.

I think this is not as nice as the first photos that were out, although it'll still kick the C500 to the back of the list in a beauty pageant.

Hi

I don't know much about mobile companies but does anyone know if there is a T-mobile company in Denmark??

:) It looks like the manufacturers have started a contest in making the most ugly phone..... :P

True true..

If you ask me, the Feeler look's like it has been dropped from the Tree Of Ugly and hit all the branches on the way down.

But I'm still gonna get it, simply beacuse of the joy-stick, and hopefully no dust problems. But I have a feeling the screen of the C500 is more bright and clearer (beacuse the design of the phone overall is so flat), maybe I'm wrong, but that's what it look's like since the Feeler seems to have more space between the LED and cover. I guess we can't say for sure, until we see live photos of 8020..Feeler..or whatever they call it

if it has the c500's button problem then someone somewhere needs a good talking to....

There is no T-mobile in DK, but I will probably be carried by TDC. They've also been carrying Qtek 8060, 1010 and 2020..

If you look close the inner "soft" keys aren't all that soft. One is a Stop key while the other is a Back key

I really hope T-mobile US picks this one up!

Same here.

Also wonder who in the US is going to pick up the Audiovox branded-C500 with 850/1800/1900??? It'd really suck for AT&T to get both the MPx220 AND that one. :)

Same here in the US. The phone line up is completely different than T-Mobile Germany.

that's true! but several T-Mobile divisions on continental Europe have MDA so they will have SDA too.

Maybe the fact that there is no Euro currency in UK has something to do with it?

I think it's actually a Home button, not a Stop one, in accordance with MS's specs.

What makes this better than the C500????

For most of us the Joystick - in contrast to the tax cross
