Anyone can find out about the joystick?

Guys you drive me nuts with this joystick thing. :) Why don't you buy a Gameboy instead? :D :P

I think - since the the Typhoon series was only shown to the FCC one time - that the hardware of the "Feelers" aka SDA ist exactly the same as the Typhoon aka SPV C500 aka Dopod 565 aka iMate SP3 aka Qtek 8010 - so it's more then likely a 4-way joystick. We'll be sure when we actually have the unit in our hands.

Can sombody post a comparision btw the C500 and the SDA?

I read somewhere that the SDA comes with a Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF viewer. thats quite nice!

The SDA seems to be thicker then the C500. Why is it thicker? Better CPU? More RAM? WI-FI? (Ok I know it is not WI-FI, but what is is?)

What else is different?

PS: In addition I heard something that Vodafone is 'planning' on coming out with a MS Smartphone on there own. - Does somebody work at Voda or use some contacts to get more info. ,-)

PPS: why dos everybody keep referring to the C500 and the SDA as Qtek8010 and Qtek8020. - I dont see it on there product list at all at www.qtek.nu - Not even major news, when / at what price / or even if the release will be!

Well, one month and half to wait and know what the real thing about this new qtek 8020, well i'm sure some pple will have informations before, i hope end september and will test it to see if it's a 8 way pad with multipress support, and if gapi isn't broken (the bad coins of the C500).

Anyway this phone is really cheap, well one prob for pple wich aren't living in the germany is the language .(os will be in german), do you have a clue if we possible change the os langage (well i think it's possible with a modded rom i think, hexa modd).

All I know is that these two phones are identical. The only thing diffrent is the design. It's been made to be the gaming version of C500, easier to play games on it beacuse of the joy-stick. That's how the 8020 how been described until now atleast.

Yeah, seems there are quite a few mistakes in that spec sheet.

- Camera with a CCD sensor? I *highly* doubt that! :roll:

- MP3 ringtones? Don't now about that one...

k.A. --> "keine Angaben" which means something like "not specified by manufacturer" or translated a bit more casual "we don't have a clue, dude"

I still wonder why it is thicker than the 8010...

I mead 4 mm compared to a total of 16 mm is quite a bit - at least for the "wear phone in jeans pocket guys".
