GPRS MegaBytes Used?

Is there anyway of keeping a track on how many MBs one uses via GPRS. I dont want a big bill at the end of the month :)

Yes but you need a third party app. All locations seem to do the only working version (on WM 2003). Not having a c500 myself, I couldn't tell you if it works on your phone. They do have a trial available though. Search handango.com or smartphone.net

I've read about this problem on all the SPV's -- does anyone think this is verging on illegal? You should be able to find out how much you've used.. or maybe you can by calling Orange. As the phone comes you have no idea of what sort of GPRS bills you are running up.. and with a smartphone its easyish to run up a pretty hefty bill!!

I agree with you, I can hardly see the utility companies being allowed to meter you without giving you a meter :roll:

I also don't think you should be allowed to charge for itemised billing -- but a GPRS counter is more important..

im with you big time on this, infact im not using it due to the fact i dont know how much im using, and im not paying £x amount just for software to tell me.

Come on people, lets get a free one going (i would if i knew how). I used a free one on my E100.
