Modifying contacts background. Lil help.

G'day all,

Im trying to add a picture to the background of my contacts screen. So when the phonebook is viewed there is a background behind it,

anyway ive added the regkey

HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftShellRai:MSCONTACTS

and ive added the paramter

BKBitmapFile as a string etc, and ive pointed it where to go

that works fine, I reboot the phone and there the background is.

But it doesnt remain static, so when I scroll the list is basically starts to go to the crap.

Is this an mpx200 problem? or does some other value need to be changed to modify it to remain static? any advice/help would be appreciated.

Thankyou.

It's the same for all phones - just use the T9 function to call up contacts instead of scrolling, or create a replicating background (ie maximum height of one contact entry).

Nah - happens like that on all phones (that i know of). No 'fix' unfortunately :). Your best bet is to just use T9 to search contacts rather than scrolling which will avoid distorting the image. That or use an image that repeats every 20px like in Mids C500 theme.
