Guest kurtfhouse
Does anyone know the code to make the highlight bar in the start menu transparent so that only the colour of the menu items' names change when they are highlighted? I am trying to put a picture in there but its ruined by a black bar I can't get rid of  Hope this makes sense  I have a C500 if this helps at all Many thanks peeps
Guest drblow
Strange! Usually the highlight bar defaults to transparent when you use a background image. It always has for me which is why I have no idea about how to change that! Are you changing the programs menu background in reg edit? If so, what have you changed? Guest kurtfhouse
No mate, I'm using Surreal Start (version 1.18 I think) and thats always had the same effect :? I would happily skin the screen with the usual reg edit but can't seem to find the right key to change on my C500. I go to HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/MSStart but the values aren't labeled the same as my MPx200 there just labeled 0,1,2,3,4. Don't know which to change  Probably me just being an idiot :) Anyway cheers for the reply Dr Blow
