Guest bopeep Posted October 2, 2004 Report Share Posted October 2, 2004 For some reason I have a constant G over my signal bar on the exterior display. I know it is supposed to indicate when GPRS is in use, but in this case, it's not in use. When the phone is open, signal bar is normal inside. I have the usual G in the center indicating it's available. Any idea why that is on my external display? And how do I remove it? Help! :? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The MPX200 has a bug as such that on a reboot the G is not displayed on the LCD screen until you connect to GPRS, then it stays there until you power off the phone. Guest Coolbox Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 I don't think that is true for my phone...unless you meen when the phone finds a gprs available. When I reset the phone the phone seeks to find the net and also detects if there is a gprs connection.
