Guest SCIZZORS Posted December 5, 2004 Report Posted December 5, 2004 OK, so Where do we stand on the bluetooth printing?>? anyone have a working app? anybody'/?
Guest simeme Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Hi, I'm looking for suggestions from anyone for bluetooth applications. I'm writing a dissertation for my Master's in Comp Sci/Software Eng, but at the moment only have a working title - "Something with bluetooth". Essentially what i'm looking for are suggestions for software that involve bluetooth between either devices (running ANY OS) or between devices and desktops. My supervisor had an idea about making a database bridge between a bluetooth enabled phone and a desktop machine. Personally I don't see this as being very useful - most phones only have a 10m range so why not just get up look at the machine?! Anyway, if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate some! Thanks, James <{POST_SNAPBACK}> blue tooth browser??
Guest darrellt Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Something that emulates the functionality of Float's Mobile Agent would be excellent as it isn't compatible with Windows based Smartphones as yet. Cheers, D.
Guest Silent.knight Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 If you're willing to change your mind on what you do then you could make an infrared remote app to change channels on TVs, songs on HiFis etc.
Guest endlessrain Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 A program which you can stream audio from your PC to your phone, and listen to music anywhere in the house, via bluetooth. That'd be incredibly awesome :)

You could walk all round the house using skype then... Edited February 21, 2006 by PaceUK
Guest mini_man Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 If you are reffering to skype on your phone then Skype partnership so you can have a bt headset use skype ;-)Oh you can, there is software that transfers everything to the headset http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...12&hl=bluetunes Would be even better if I could connect my phone to my network, then use a headset to use my my phone, bluetooth which in turn has wifi to the network which the skype resides on... You could walk all round the house using skype then... And so is that because your phone has wifi but if ure pc has bluetooth then you can also do all of the above as it is recognised as a wireless mic and speaker through bluesoleil
