Adding/Changing homescreen files

I'm trying to change/add some things to a few homescreens and after I copy them back onto the phone they do not available to be selected in the Home Screen Layout field. The original home screen works just fine. But even if I just change the xml file name and the title field in the xml file the homescreen file will not be listed. Is there something about some xml files that won't let you edit them?

Em ... no m8 - you can edit an xml file! :shock: If the changes you make are incorrect, then the xml won't show up in the screens to choose from in the phone. When you make changes, open the xml file in IE on your PC. If there is any problem with it, IE won't open it, and you'll get an error message telling you what the problem is.

I found that none of my homescreen xml files will work unless I have .home.xml at the end insted of just .xml It's woorth a try for ya ^_^

Renaming it using the .home.xml filename did the trick. Thanks for the tip!
