Guest shadamehr Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Actually, SCRAP that... If that's a screenshot of a new Audiovox, it's totally the same as the existing font, and moreover, NOTHING like the screenshot up above, of what is ALLEGEDLY, the new OS, posted by Brody... Yours looks NOTHING like Brody's, and is exactly the same as the old font... I cocked up in my post before, by comparing the new with yours, and thinking the 'new' grab was the current font... Doh... So there's a rat off somewhere...
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 So I can install this thing on my Orange SPV E200? And it updates something on it? Anybody? ^_^
Guest nickcornaglia Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 You'll need to wait for Orange to provide an update.
Guest r1c4rd0 Posted October 16, 2004 Report Posted October 16, 2004 Is there a Graphical equaliser option?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 Still no-one has answered my questions so I'll guess: Automatic Killer Update? American Krusty Utopia? All Kind of Umbrellas? It looks like its similar to the in-RAM updates PPC's get. It updates the OS, but you'll loose it if you hard reset (you can reinstall).
Guest Pennan Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 Is it just me Midnight, or is that ALSO a totally different default Font it now uses for the menu buttons...? It sure looks like it. Do you know if that's a global thing used right across the system now..? Looks kind of clearer to me, at least the screen grab does anyhow... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The screen dump seems to be a resized dump from a QVGA (240x320) version of the OS. Take a look at this resized dump I made from the WM2003SE emulator: This is the original: OK Me ignorant. What is AKU2? and why should I be excited? AKU = Adaptation Kit Update It's like a Service Pack that includes fixes and sometimes new features (like WMP10 Mobile). However Microsoft only provides this to the manufacturers who then needs to customize it and release it as an update to the end users. This usually takes some time. Some manufacturers might even ignore the updates. Apparently Microsoft will be able to release OS updates directly to the end users in the next version of Windows Mobile.
