no one from att really knows... but one sales person at the local att store told me somewhere around Nov 9th or so... take that with a grain of salt though

That will be awesome if they release the black version. I think it looks better, but I hope they do some fixes by then. Because it may look good, but the phone will just still suck.

i have att service and I bought the cingular one because it was unlocked cause I heard from rumors the first shipment of the mpx220 to all best buys are unlocked and when I wen to 3 best buys to test my sim card I finally found the one unlocked one! and it worked, i just need to get the internet settings and such all other settings to att settings so I can use the internet and other things i guess.....i got my mpx for about 2 weeks already still getting use to it, and so far i love it

As far as i know the Att version should be better "Well I wish" because they should be making some upgrades such as Camera, Speakerphone,Mic. maybe some other one but will just have to wait till the end of next month ^_^

FYI, just came back from my local AT&T Wireless store, now sporting Cingular colours. Last week they had an AT&T branded 220 mock up, now there's no 220 in the store. Manger said they thought the phones were to be in "before Thanksgiving" but wasn't optimistic.

FYI, he also said that AT&T customers with an MPx200 could expect to get the "New Customer" price (with contract) from Cingular, plus a trade-in for their old MPx200. No idea what the price for the 220 would be, or of the trade-in value of the 200.

GOOD NEWS for AT&T customers! I just called AT&T this morning and ordered the MPX220 I should have it by Wednesday. They said that they just received it and that the only way to order is to call customer care. They will not have it on the AT&T website.

HOWEVER, I am on a corporate plan and the non-business customer support rep did not know if that phone was available or not. Once I was transferred to the business department they were able to help me.

Keep that in mind, so if you call be persistent.
