Ok the picture bit of beta 2.7 wasn't working, but so was my GPRS not working. My GPRS still was stuck on dialling when whocallmanager 2.7 was loaded.

Or did you not correct that to0

Really having problems with this... the only way I can connect to the internet is via my Pc's dial-up connection.

Even with the new beta SPV won't connect to GPRS... can anyone post the connection settings so I can check I haven't inadvertently altered mine while messing around in the IE and phone settings?

Cheers

nope still doesn't work

whadda mean?

GPRS still doesn't work on your phone? or nothing is displayed when you got a phone call?

-are you sure you've got the updated beta2.7 installed (the one which was uploaded by spacemonkey, not by galaga)

-which operator do you use?, in which country?

-you're SPV is unlocked? (asking this because last time i spent 2 hours with some dude to find out it wasn't)

-install SpTaskManager (or another process viewer software) and check that whoCallMgr process is currently running)

killing the process makes the GPRS runs fine again?

it is strange that it doesn't work since i've got feedback from lots of people all over europe who told me it works fine now... (but who knows)

Hi Ceb

The picture thing works fine, it's my GPRS which isn't working - although I've only just notice the post in the Main section which says there has been problems over here with GPRS connection.

Since I installed the orginal version I've had connection problems, but that could just mean that it coincided with the network trouble.

Yep SPV is unlocked. I've removed the app for now, but I'm still having connection problems so it could mean that it's nothing to do with your program... sorry for sounding like I was blaming you.

I'll try it again when I get home, GPRS seemed to work there last night.

This application rocks!!!!!!!!!

It's so small (memory wise), doesn't slow down my system... yet so informative! Definitely an efficient program. I love the way you save photos on SD card... another efficient aspect!

With regards to photos, people are complaining about not being able to get the callers name to come up..

It only takes 10 seconds to write a name over the image in PSP/adobe/irfan view and save as telephone_number.jpg

I have had no problems with GPRS.

I would pay $5 for this easily!

Ps. I have set my boss's photo to a monkey! So hilarious!

I must admit that I am very impressed. I've set all my pictures to 70x70 and it does the job brilliantly without affecting the rest of the screen. Very easy to set up and just so much better than the Caller2Picture software which refused to remove from my machine. Just need to get people to ring me now.
