Guest Tankerom Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Tried it on my dutch orange SPV C500 with the CAB version
Guest joefong1 Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 I have tried it on my O2 xphone running on smartphone window ce 2003 and it works fine. Only problem is the updating high score can only accept 1 character
Guest Kak Posted December 30, 2004 Report Posted December 30, 2004 Hi Everybody! I just updated the files for the new version, it should fix most problems, including anoying long lag in C500 & co, and the SP3i bug. The only bug fix I haven't been able to find is the one where you can only change 1 letter in the record ( all the testers are gone for xmas ;) ). If anybody finds it and you have a little spare time to help, please send me a msg. Zipped executable CAB file Happy new year to everybody :) Kak
Guest annab Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 (edited) Works on my E100! Edited December 31, 2004 by annab
Guest ppcmd Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 I just d/l it and will try it out on my MPx220.
Guest phonesmarts Posted December 31, 2004 Report Posted December 31, 2004 I just tried it out on my mpx200, (with WM2003) and it worked great, no lag! However, I think you should change the "Exit" key so that it would not have any conflicts (like in the HiScores). I love the graphics in this game and it reminds me of the Linux Breakout... Keep up the good work! Yay, its my 400th post!
Guest hooperman Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Hi, I got rid of my MPX200 just before Christmas and this was my favorite game on it. Alas, I purchased an SP3i and it didn't work on that. I have just tried the updated version you have posted but it still won't work- the music comes on and it gets to the black page telling you that its a trial version with 7 levels and thats it. It just hangs there. Please help!
Guest Kak Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 I just tried it out on my mpx200, (with WM2003) and it worked great, no lag! However, I think you should change the "Exit" key so that it would not have any conflicts (like in the HiScores). I love the graphics in this game and it reminds me of the Linux Breakout... mmm... weird, both the sp3i bug and this exit problem should have been fixed by now (in fact I got positive reports about a beta I released some days ago) I fear I'm having a problem with the web server...
Guest annab Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 (edited) Ok, after at least 50 games, I noticed the ff: 1. Hung twice 2. Restarted my E100 once midgame 3. Hung for about 3 seconds when exiting the game several times 4. Movements were jerky several times but gradually became normal by third level several times 5. Game performs much better without the background and shadows Still, a great game. Edited January 10, 2005 by annab
Guest radiator Posted January 22, 2005 Report Posted January 22, 2005 (edited) **SP3i owners** After some beta testing on an SP3i, the graphics bug has now been fixed, and a new version of Walls and Balls will be released soon... note: I have nothing to do with this game, I've just been doing some extensive Beta testing - please direct any questions to Kak, not me! Guest Kak Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Hi everybody, as radiator said I just updated the Smartphone version fixing the freeze problems with SP3i devices (and also some problems with Mitac Mio 8390). As usual, the file is located here: WnB Smartphone I'd wish to thank both Radiator and Hooperman, as they've provided very valuable feedback to Thierry (pocketHAL author) and me to discover the bug, and also to the imate tech service.
