MIO internal speaker volume almost silent

Dear people,

My MIo doesnt react to the adjustments of increasing the sound volume, that means NOT the SPEAKER itself but the internal littel speaker, if i try to adjust it, it reacts too slow, and at maximum volume, you hear little from it.

I already tried to format and do the NAND test etc. doesnt help. funny thing is putting it on speakerphone the outer speaker reacts well even increasing the volume and also media player reacts well.

but putting it back and same problem.

It all occured when i try to hook it up with my own made car charger/adapter, that only indicates the voltage not the Amperes. I heard some buzzing sounds, could i destroy the little speaker by triggering it to a wrong voltage? any one know a reasonable solution, btw the handset still works fine.
