Guest goosegog Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 · Hidden Hidden I have successfully followed the instructions on here and converted many mpgs to smaller wmv files and now have lots of fun things to watch on my spv. I have also converted (again using Windoze Media Encoder) a couple of avi files straight to wmv files and can watch them fine too. I am however having problems converting some apparantly similar DivX avi files as WMEncoder requires a codec. I have been to the M$ and DivX sites and downloaded some codecs which haven't really helped. I'm not actually sure what I'm doing to be honest Basically, I want to put Pulp Fiction on my phone! It's a DivX avi file What do we do and use for this? Many thanks Goosegog Link to comment

It would be cool if we could start a P2P so if someone has already given somehting the treatment they can share it rather than others having to go throught the business with it. I'd be happy to share what I've done but presumably that's rather illegal... Would it be illegal to advertise a list of stuff you are happy to email/ICQ to people? Ferg Link to comment
