I was hoping this could be the "general" topic for the HTC Magician until it comes out. When more information gets released I'll update this post. So when you have more information available, please post it in here! :)

The HTC Magician will be known by several different names. They all have the same hardware though and are all made by HTC.

The currently known names under which it’ll get released are:

- HTC Magician

hi mate. do you have any information about whether or not orange is going to release the Magician soon? i am losing patience with my E200 (contract 9 months old but freely upgradable) and since the Magician seems to be roughly the same size but with twice the screen, i am very keen for information.

if anyone would like a couple of pics (MDA compact vs E200 and fag packet - i picked them up from www.compactjam.com earlier) i'll post them up here.

EDIT: even though my contract is now 10 months old, they still want a £75 upgrade fee - the £0 on hte website has been replaced by £88 or so. balls!!

There is no official word from Orange about the HTC Magician. Id say that it will be quite some time before they carry the device if they carry it at all.

I think they would be mad as its the first device to start bridging the Smartphone/Phone Edition divide!

Are you sure it's quadband? Any references on that?
