Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 We're over £1000 total now, excellent! P
Guest xerxes Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 I've mailed the guy in question to ask exactly what he means, but I don't really expect a reply. TBH, having sat here activating people all day on new years day and doing a whole load of admin, it's a bit disheartening... P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know better than to listen to the guy, Paul. There are always going to be arseholes on the Internet.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 I just received an apology :) P
Guest uczmeg Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 (edited) Hi Paul, I've just returned to the Smartphone world as the C500 seems to have got rid of all my issues with the fisrt SPV and was wondering if I need a plus account. Well, this certainly answered my question! An amazing gesture. Well done! Awarner, I used you as a referrer. A big thank you, to you too! I'd already donated some to the appeals, but couldn't resist adding more thanks to you guys. Cheers Marc Edited January 2, 2005 by uczmeg
Guest ppcmd Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I only joined a few months ago and I was moved by the goal of donating to those in need. I just signed up and look forward to learning and helping more in the smartphone/ppc world. Thanks. Is there a special page to log into the Plus member area just so I know how to better use the great benefits. Thannks.
Guest Confucious Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 ppcmd - there is a forum (you can find it at http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showforum=27 ) which is limited access to Plus members. HTH
Guest TigerNet Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Glad you got an apology Paul...this is a great idea... Paul, you have a PM... Cheers Nick
Guest TigerNet Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 ...thanks for your help Paul...I have re-signed...again a great idea. I had donated through my company, but this is a neat way of giving a bit extra... @awarner...thanks for your idea, you are my reference!!! Cheers Nick
Guest Shuflie Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I've just resubscribed, I think my subscription was probably up for renewal soon anyway but wasn't sure whether I was going to continue it since I don't have a windows smartphone anymore but this decided it for me. Good work.
Guest boden01 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 (edited) Paul, what a great idea to support the appeal. Edited January 3, 2005 by boden01
Guest MPXtricky Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I've always held off from joining http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=54779>MoDaCo Plus but......how can I not do it and still call myself human? Ashley, I've said you referred me even though you didn't so besides my £24, that's another quid too :) Laters Tricky
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Post updated with donations to date... P
Guest mickyB Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 I only have an ancient SPV and i use to throw it to the wall while having trouble using with italian providers even using good tips & tricks found here, so I never considered to subscribe to http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=54779>MoDaCo Plus till now.... Guest furby Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 feeling bad that it's taken me this long to donate (and become a plus member). Thanks for the chance to help Paul

Guest mike-oh Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Paul, are you going to get a big novelty cheque printed and a photo of you handing it over the P.O. counter or whatever? :D
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Not sure really, it seems that donating via the website will allow them to claim the tax back? I can't do anything atm, someone has filed a complaint against my PayPal account over an eBay auction, and my account is limited! DOH! P
