Guest Unicorn2 Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 (edited) This is a never locked (bought new a month ago) phone roaming on Al Jawwal from T-Mobile USA. A few hours ago I turned my phone off to get back some memory. When I turned it back on, I received a notification that I had a new SMS. I opened my inbox, but it was empty. I've turned it off and on a few times, and every time it's giving me a new SMS notice, even while it's still searching for the carrier. Any options besides a http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=ST&f=1...62&st=0>HARD RESET? I'm kind of lazy, and don't feel like having to reinstall programs, and delete the built in wallpapers. It's not a major issue right now because, I really don't turn my phone off all that often, but I'm afraid it's a precurser of things to come. Any ideas? I forgot to say that I have sucessfully sent myself a couple SMS from the T-Mobile website, and I just sent one from my phone to my phone, so it seems to be working. Guest keybeeCZ Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Did you http://www.modaco.com/search.php>Search your deleted messages? Maybe you've got one unreaded there and the phone notice it like new message... Maybe...
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Sounds like a Phantom SMS variant. Have you checked this? http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=54501
