I dont think you can get a codec for it as the movie plays right at the begginig of the game.

delete the 3 files in Storage/My Documents that start with vp and end in .dat and it'll retstart as if t were a new install and you should see the film.

It appeares as you enter the garage.

Wow... I WAS really impressed with what I saw... the menu, going into career mode, seeing the movie, the selection screen at "the garage"... unfortunately, the game crashes back to the phone after selecting a partner, and I can't get any farther than that. I've tried reinstalling, tried working the menu keys with a d-pad center click, or hitting the home key to continue, but it just exits.

I have a Audiovox SMT 5600 in the US. I might be running low on resources... funny how PC games give system/memory/storage requirements, and smartphone games never do.

Overall a very polished feel to the menu system :-P

Oh, I was a tester for Apogee/3DRealms for a number of years... not that it would matter.

hey yo what up all, pretty cool graphics for a pool game like. Is there just a carrer mode with 6 balls like only one choice you can do?

The game requires 5 MB of memory free and it is pretty likely that you don't have that much free if the game crashes at that point. One of the changes we made from the beta test feedback was to do a memory check before the game even starts and alert users to low memory and promptly exit.

The beta is a trial, and the trial is limited to 6 ball in the first room. The fullversion has 6 rooms and allows play of 6,8,9,10 ball, rotation and straight pool.

 $19.99 I personally think is a little steep $14.99 seems alot better to me as alot of the stuff has most probably been ported from existing code.

Please dont all shout at me thinking this its just my view. If this is gonna be the final price I will still buy the game but I had to put my thoughts forward.

Its sill rocks and I can beat Big T everytime :D

Nice work VpMobile .

Hope you havent fallen out with me

When they game is released (and it looks like Handango is ready) it will be 20% off for a couple of weeks... so there is your $14.99 (or there about). :D

Yeah, I ended up getting a miniSD card, reset my phone, put all the applications and stuff on there and it ran fine. Really well done. I've played a few rounds so far, and its very impressive.

Only just found this subject so I am a little behind everyone else. Looks great, I look forward to the full version. You need to fix the sound problems though, 0 should be silent and it should remember the settings between plays.

A bug. The phone hangs if you receive a call while playing. You can answer and hang up the call, then nothing. Finally, when the backlight times out, you can press a key and you are back in the game but the keyboard was still frozen. I also could not power off, I had to take the battery out. This problem really needs to be fixed before I would spend money on this game.

The only other bug I found was that half way through the opening video, the picture froze for a second or 2. When it restarted, the sound was out of sync and the video stopped just before the end (of the sound anyway).

I have an SPV C500 (no update).

Hope that helps.

Another bug I've found (not very major) is that if the camera is moving back to your position as you are about to make another shot eg. if your partner has just missed the ball he is meant to hit, and you change the mode to move ball mode before the camera is back in the right position it becomes locked in place and when you go back into aim mode you get weird camera angles for that shot. Hope you understood that lol not too easy to explain!! :D

Ouch, that was an ugly one!

Thanks for finding it.

@ Jamma14

Do you mean the Cue stays pointing in the direction it was when you start to move the ball then doesn't re center itself on the next lowest ball??

It is annoying but I suppose it helps you to develop aiming technique :D

hi again,

Do we know if ...

1. can it be two player

2. if yes, over bluetooth or just pass it to your mate?

3. How much its going to be, (hope its £10 or less

4. is it the whole original game or cut down version?

The celeris site isnt that clear is it, why dont they have a note on there saying Smartphone version not on sale yet, or something.?

You can play two-player, but just by passing the same phone back and forth. We will have multiplayer network support sometime this year.

The price is $19.95, US. The first couple of weeks it is 20% off... so about $15.

VPMobile is a mix-match of VP1->VP3. Obviously, some artwork for VP3 was meant to run on nVidia graphics cards so it isn't going to work on the phone... however, we made every attempt to get as much as we could in there. Keep in mind, the graphics engine was written from scratch to support mobile devices. We think you will find that the graphics are amazing given the platform.
