Guest Griff_FFOC Posted January 30, 2005 Report Share Posted January 30, 2005 Just before sending my C500 back to orange for a replacement, I ran the "Clear Storage" program from the Accessories menu. This cleared out all my data and reset everything back to factory defaults, then restarted itself to finish off. The question is, is this the same as doing a Hard Reset? If so, it seems to be a lot easier then the procedure for a hard reset, and i've not seen it mentioned anywhere on the forum. Even doing a search didn't bring anything up. Although I don't know the difference myself, I would guess that there is more to totally resetting the phone than just clearing the storage memory.
