Guest smrt Posted February 18, 2005 Report Share Posted February 18, 2005 does anyone get their at&t firmware to update? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After reading all through forums.cingular.com I came to the conclusion that the AT&T .343 firmware IS NOT the same as the Cingular 1.3. I even called my account rep (I have 4 users on MPx220's in my company) and complained about it. She is switching all of our accounts over to Cingular so I can get the upgrade. Seems that since AT&T is getting swallowed up by Cingular no new phone firmwares are being tested and approved on "Blue" phones. Only "Orange" phones get the updates. If you haven't had the phone for 30 days I'd suggest switching to Cingular. Their plans are better (cheaper) than AT&T Wireless anyway, especially for data. I am really hoping for further versions past 1.3. I'm holding out for a patch to work seamlessly as a bluetooth modem for Pocket PCs!
