Nope, don't have a storage card. all I did to install was put it on the phone, open file manager and open the files. I think /storage is the designation for this phones internal flash?

Oh right. Mine is \IPSM\.

Are there supposed to be any other keys in HKLM\software\microsoft\Windows Media Player8?

All I have in there is Paramaters, and under that Skindir and Skinfile

Seems a little light on to me... Maybe this phone has a different WMP version?

Did you try changing the defaultportraitskin value? Is this under \Windows Media Player 8\ or is the key elsewhere?

Alrighty. I'm guessing that my phone has WMP 9 or above.

This is the key you'll need to modify to get the WMP skin working:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Player\Parameters

The value "DefaultPortraitSkin" needs to have it's data modified from:

\windows\default.skn

to

\storage\application data\home\decepticons\wmplayer.skn

That'll fix it.

Although now I have the "WMP font size not resizing" issue ;)

But we're getting there.

UPDATE: I just tried playing the sample movie that came with the phone (WMP trailer 9 seconds long) and got both audio and video.

Does anybody have any suggestions about the screens? I'm a little concerned about the Devestator on the incoming call picture. Was thinking the seekers (Starscream et al) would be more appropriate, "incoming", get it??

Also, I'll do the G1 Autobots skin once I get all the technical problems sorted in this one. Then I was thinking of doing a Tekken5 one.

As mentioned previously, I have an O2 Xphone II which is a HTC Feeler variant with the following versions (hope they mean something):

Windows Mobile 2003 SE (4.21.1088 build 14132)

ROM:

Operator: 1.2.34.21

Manufacturer: 1.1.102.111

Microsoft: 4.21.14132.0

Language: 1.1.102.111

File System: 4.21.14132.0

As for the screens, I think they're great. You've done a great job already.

Dunno if this is a bug or intended, Stomski, but I just noticed this with the calendar:

If you have an appointment at a particular time (say, 5:00PM), the "Upcoming Appointments" bar on the Homescreen seems to show "5:00PMYour Next Appointment"

ie no space between the time and the text for the appointment.

Is this design, an "undocumented feature" in the calendar plugin, or my pickiness once more?

Cant install digitally signed with a trusted certificate. Yes my C500 is app unlocked. But the homescreen looks awsome by the way

I've got an MPx220, and I can't get the external LCD to load, and isn't in the list to be selected. Can you upload just the image so i can put it in there myself?

Hi there Transfans!

I'm so sorry about not responding to any of the posts. Short story, I fell ill, played too much Doom 3 and Tekken 5, organised a console gaming tournament down here in Bristol and have had crazy work stuff going on.

Seeing as nobody seems to have a suggestion on how to fix media player, I'm going to just have that as a seperate CAB file.

The other problem involving the volume change screen, I think I'll just ignore.

Expect a release soon in the downloads section ;)

If it gets rated highly enough, I will do an Autbots version too.

Orion: I'll upload the LCD logo once the main release is done.

orion2087, this also includes the external logo as a bmp in a zip file for you.

The release does include some fixes to the beta release, so if you are running the beta, please download (and rate ;) ) the new version!
