Qtek 2020 dead or black screen

For the third time in months I experience that my Qtek 2020 is like dead when it has been in cradle overnight.

The ONLY response I can get from it is that the battery lamp lights red when i take out the battery and connects the Qtek with external power. Otherwise its like dead.

The last two times I had to hard reset - which is troublesome and time consuming - i loose all my data, sms'es etc. I hope to avoid that.

1) Any1 tried the same?

2) Any smart fixes here and now (EXCEPT hard reset)?

3) Any ideas on how to avoid the problem in the future?
