Dust and button problem

Well there I am, loving my iMate SP3 and today I notice my first speck of dust under the glass. The weekend was the first time I took my phone out without the case. Seems you have to treat these phones with respect.

Also my number 8 button has pressed in a slight bit, it now feels odd compared to the others. I'm not a big fan of the keys on the SP3 as it is, now I feel nervous about using them.

With all the other problems it seems like HTC aren't very experienced in designing the exterior of phones. Look at the maturity of the Sony Ericcson T630 for example (my previous phone), it never suffered from dust, there's no gaps near buttons. the keys (while not brilliant) feel like they'll last and don't rattle around. The battery door is secure and doesn't move when locked in place.

I hope the next generation smartphone is a lot better designed. The SP3 is a very small powerful phone, it just doesn't feel expensive (or look it in some ways).
