problem with "new message" notice

Hi,

Everytime i switch on my phone it plays the sound for "new message" and there is this little envelope in the left upper corner.

But there is no new message.

Anyone who has this problem, too?

What could be a solution for that?

it's the "phantom sms"

bedlam what's being discribed here is the infamous Phantom SMS

this is a bug that can only be fixed by the link ronny gave above.
