Guest youngricardo Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 Wondering if this might be the problem. As I added to my post above, the gprs tracker is not displaying the ip address. So I went through settings / connections and then looked at the details for my orange gprs and there was no ip address there either. My gprs connection works fine and the info for the connection is as stated in the orange manual (which makes no mention of the ip address). Can any other c500 owners check to see if their gprs connection also lacks an ip address, and could this be why the gprs tracker isn't working?
Guest youngricardo Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 All sorted at last! 3rd re-installation and it's working fine. Thanks!
Guest Rado Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Funny thing is that it's not working for me anymore eventhough it was working fine before. But I guess that this may have something to do with the fact that I have also installed all-locations counter for testing so I have both installed at the same time... It's now still showing zero traffic and the next billing date is also frozen on 20th March. The other one from all locations is counting just fine at the moment. Rado

Rado <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Rado, It's appears that your connection monitoring process spgm.exe was not running (which should not happen generally). Please try restart your phone, or launch spgm.exe from file explorer. Also, as promised, we have just put out the newest version 2.4b for beta testing. It supports monitoring multiple connections, as well as a redesigned interface. Please check www.efficasoft.com for more details if you are interested! Guest Rado Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 I've just installed the latest version (2.5) and it has been working like a charm so far - thanks for adding the ability to monitor more than 1 connection at the same time! I didn't have the time to test if it's actually working, but if it is, then I'll most probably purchase your traffic monitor once the trial expires. I've been playing with the the other one - I think it was all-locations gprs monitor - which was nice (especially the daily traffic chart and invoice estimation), but I don't think that it justifies the additional $9 for me, especially with my limited GPRS usage. ;) Rado PS: The only thing that really needs a change is the main program icon!
