no stock for 10 days at phones2udirct BTW

I'm going to place my order with A1Comms, they say stock on the 16th

any other ideas?

hmm was thinking about it but there may be better offers nearer the time. I think i will sit on it for a couple of weeks till they are in stock everywhere and see what prices they are then.

You can get them from scancomm for £ 50 on relax 100 but no 1/2 price months

They are all milking the situation at the moment

virtualmeuk,

Can you please stop double posting. You have now now double posted a couple of times, I and others check the forum from our handsets and when a topic is shown as updated it means wasted GPRS checking the updated topic only to see the same reply you have posted on another topic. I don't want to seem off but you are costing me money :D

Has any one read my post? You can get it off from expansys.

I know you are all angry. But i think they really can't help it... because stock run out TOO FAST!. And HTC is just too busy with manufacture it....

( I hope they quickly make a Jam 2 )

For those who want a cheap Imate Jam. This is it!. Buy this and after 12 months change it to 30 min plan which is 15 pounds a month. you end up with a Total of 288 pounds.

( 6 * 18  + 12 *15 )

Which is only slighly more than T-Mobile. 9 Months 1/2 Price line rental on T-Mobile 100 min @ 21 Pounds . But t Mobile can only change tarriff after 11 months

( 9 * 10.5 + 21 * 2 + 15 * 9 ) = 271.5 pounds.

Now This May at first seem not worth it especially when vodafone offer less min. However consider these side facts as well.

Vodafone offer 1 Month Min roll over.

The I Mate Jam with Vodafone is Unlocked - Which save you 15 pounds .

You get to join Imate Club as well.

So all in all i think this balance out the T Mobile offer.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Im just trying to clarify your maths here m8.

In order to get what you have stated.

( 6 * 18 + 12 *15 )

You would need to be able to switch to 15ppm after 6 months?

Otherwise surely its:

6*18 + 6*36 + 6*15 = 414 ?

Did you check how long you it is before you can switch before loosing out on the cashback / getting clawback?

Did you check that there is a 15ppm tariff that you can switch to?

When is the cashback claimed?

Do they use Singlepointless?

cheers.

Answer some of this ,yself as I just placed an order ;-)

Half price line rental is first six months from network, not via cashback :D

You can downgrade with no clawback after 6 months :D

You can drop the data pack (£6) after 1 month :D

Its a great deal, and now I get a Jam and dont have to go on a shitty network! :D

18 mth voda contract 200 mins inc data half price for 6 months of the 18- free jam and imate membership(email, dloads, rom upgrades)

Free delivery and excellent service. Trackable orders and lots in stock apparently.

Check expansys site - it was the top left offer.

Is the 1/2 price line rental from the network or by redemption?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Network i think - ring them - they are very helpfull.

They put up with me asking stupid questions anyway.

I order it anyway and cancelled my MDA order. The fact that there's no network customization on the handset was quite appealing

Network customisation was my biggest fear with the Tmobile compact. ITs really easy to get rid of though, just do a hard reset and then a soft reset as soon as it starts loading the Tmob customisation suite upon boot. The sugarcube trick worked fine for me in terms of "debadging" (i feel like a dirty boy racer!) and I have the cab file for loading Orange settings onto the device. All in all, worked a treat!

Right for those considering the Expansys deal.

The first six months of the contract are half price from Voda, not via cashback.

You can drop the data pack after 1 month saving £6

You can drop to a lower tariff after 6 months.

The are with Vodafone connect.

Its a much better deal that I first thought.

(Mine should be here in the morning ;-)

Couple of questions ( If anyone can help )

Does anyone know what is the lowest vodafone tariff?

Does the jam come 'Unlocked'?

Does the jam come ' Unbranded '

And just to clarify-

18 x 6 = 108

12 x Guess? 18 = 216

total of £324? Doesnt sound that cheap

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There is no reason why you should not be able to port. give expansys a call and ask to be put through to connections. They are very helpful.

(although I may have to kill someone if my order status does not change soon ;-)

1 - 15ppm for Voda 30 I think.

2 - Yes

3 - Well it is Imate Jam branded but that is pretty nice minimal branding ;-)

Year 1 cost based on a drop to 15.00 in month seven IS

1 x 21 (first month half price + data pack)

5 x 15 (5 months half price no data pack)

12 x 15 (switch to voda 30 in Month 7)

= £276

So yea, the T Mobile deal was better but its still a good deal if you think about the tariff, the branding, club imate membership and the cost vs a sim free Jam.

+ the fact that expansys have about 300 IN STOCK :D

Hi All,

Couple of questions:-

1) Does an SPV C500 MAINS Charger work with the jam?

2) Does an SPV C500 CAR Charger work with the jam?

3) Does an Motorola MPX200 (mpx 200) In Car Charger work with the jam?

Thanks in advance
