Guest adambloor Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Hi guys. Im new to the forums and would just like to know how you would get some of these fantastic message tones onto you computer to put onto your mobile. Also has anybody got any good websites maybe for message tones and funny ring tones? I used to have one for when people called me and it just used to say "ring ring, ringy ringy ring ring" with a womens voice it was so funny but I cannot find them anywere Thanks and reply soon so I can get downloading, Adam
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 Welcome to the forum :o Generally you would right-click on the file name and save to somewhere on your PC. Then connect the phone to the PC with the data cable and use ActiveSync to copy them across to the folder \Storage \Application Data \Sounds. They will then show up in the Settings list. This is the method for Windows Smartphones but the N90 has a Symbian operating system so, if you want to add the tones to that, I'm afraid I don't think you can use the same format files.
Guest adambloor Posted October 13, 2005 Report Posted October 13, 2005 ok thanks alot mate. Open with 2. Save to disc 3. Do this automatically etc blah I select 2 and then get a box letting me choose a name and location (Save in)
