where to find deals on jam or xda mini?

Has anyone who ordered from the buymobilephones.net site received their handset yet? I ordered my QTEK S100 on Monday night so I'm just wondering how long it's likely to take to arrive. It says it"s still in stock so I hope I've not missed out.

I got it on Orange OVP for free. I've already ordered accessories for it. ;-)

Patience has never been one of my strong points. :-)

I phoned buymobilephones.net yesterday and left a message. I've emailed them and not got any news back yet. None of their numbers seem to result in my call being answered. It is a little frustrating.

Anyone else having problems with them?

no probs here with them. I orginally ordered the Imate JAM for 29.99. they called me to tell me that they had sold out of the JAMs and would I like a QTEK. After finding out its the same except the QTEK has a 2yr warranty instead of IMATEs 1 year and is FREE. I changed the order. Recvd the phone 2 days later. Noticed that they still charged me £29.99. Emailed twice, got no responce. Called them and they immediatly refunded me the 29.99.

Just a quick update. I finally got through to them this afternoon (only because their voicemail was full so I got transfered to an A1 operator).

They expect to receive new Qtek stock on Monday, so I should have it on Tuesday. Yay! Little irritated that they didn't let me know about the delay, but other than that, reasonably happy. :-D

QTEK is identical to the Imate , except the branding. You wont get access to Imate club, but thats not a problem. As far as I know Pic messages are not included in the bundle only 100 texts.

Boy I started out a few weeks ago comparing the MDA Compact to the i-mate jam. Now I'm told they are the same, so is the QTEK exactly the same? What other models are there that have just been rebranded? I'm chasing a deal now as I need gprs to keep in touch with my emails and maybe copilot too (see one of my other threads). But now I see there a MDA III which has wi-fi, which would save on my gprs bandwidth when at home/work. Is this the same model too?

Well it is now Thursday and still no phone. Phoned them on Tues, they said stock would be arriving today. Phoned them again about ten minutes ago. It is apparently arriving tomorrow now. I understand they can't help it if the supplier lets them down, but at the same time I would like to be informed when a delay occurs without me having to chase them up.

Hopefully by Saturday I'll have the little ****er and all will once again be good in the world.

My accessories are getting impatient. ;) My silicon case does look promising though, and it has given me and even better idea of how small the device will be.

Well my handset has now been dispatched! Yay! That said, I don't imagine it'll arrive before Monday, when of course I will be at work. I'll no doubt have to re-arrange delivery for another day, to my girlfriend's parent's house, so that'll mean it'll probably be at least Wednesday evening before I actually get it.
