C500 - The Office, Series 1 and 2

[edit]

Not sure that counts as "installed", so the latest app is CellTrack

MDA III: Microsoft Voice Command (as above, it is superb, so much better then the voicedial app that came with the device)

E200: Madbeetle plugin and Animated Nemo homescreen (but that was weeks ago, don't use the E200 much anymore aside from as a bluetooth remote control for my PC)

The last thing I put on my C500 was scratch remover fluid. It made the scratch a little smaller, so I put more on. The scratch was still just about there, so I put some more on. This fixed that scratch, but melted a large section of my screen and caused a dozen other scratches.

My phone's currently with HTC for them to replace the screen! #-o

Remember kids, if you're going to fix something do it when you're SOBER!!!! ;)

Not too sure. Always keep it in my pocket (never the same one as my keys), and got an Orange case for it purely to avoid scratches. To be honest, I'm sure the scratch appeared after I'd put the phone in and then pulled it back out of the case! Maybe something on the inside of the case I didn't spot, or just one of those things.

That caused an annoying vertical scratch over an inch in the centre of the screen. I found this more and more irritating until last week when I decided to do something about it. Turns out the "something" I decided to do was make it ten times worse by trying to fix it! ;)

Never mind - such is life! Now I just need HTC to actually fix it, charge me and send it back to me. Their site's been saying "received" for over 48hrs now with no updates - I'm getting withdrawal symptoms here.

I'd just like to thank Orange for holding the UK C500 update until I get my phone back so I don't miss out on anything. Very thoughtful of them! ;)
