Guest raghu_mp Posted August 29, 2005 Report Posted August 29, 2005 While trying to set the operator name on my SMT5600 (Cingular SIM), i found the following registry key entries. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/HTC/SIM - "ONS Enable" with value 1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/HTC/SIM/ONS - "ONS Value" with value CINGULAR This seems to be preventing the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RIL\OperatorNames tweak. Does anyone see the above entries? I also see entries for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/HTC/SIM - "SPN Enable" with value 0 (this i am assuming is select preferred network enable) Does anyone with an unlocked SMT5600 see this otherwise? Thanks for the info in advance !
