Guest Arktouros Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 Hello, I’ve been following conversations about the updates for a long time now. Have 2 remarks about the whole thing. For one the situation reminds me a bit of Kafka book, Orrange being a mysterious kind of power that no one really knows why and how it works. I don't think that Orange will host newer versions of Activesync than 3.7 for it's current product line. Apart from that activesync 3.8 can be found on Microsoft Website. Cheers
Guest badsworth Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 My phone seems to have version 4.21.1088 installed - is that now the latest ROM? Sorry for the newbie type question. Badsworth
Guest Dr.Pepper Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 My phone seems to have version 4.21.1088 installed - is that now the latest ROM? Sorry for the newbie type question. Badsworth <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mine also says that. But if you scroll the About screen down a little further, it says ROM update versions: Operator: 4.1.1.4 Manufacturer: 1.1.1.91 Microshaft: 4.21.14217.0 Language: 1.1.1.91 My phone is brand new, I got it last Friday. It would appear then, that I have the "old" ROM on a new phone from Orange.

Guest Pondrew Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 I do believe mikey86uk is right and the update is up! click here
Guest mikey86uk Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 just downloaded and now putting it on :)
Guest usdiver Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 it works for me just fine...just had a look... I am impressed by the way, thought they'd never have it. alternatively you can go to the orange website, and go the long way... click on help, then tell them what phone you have, then go from there...if you need more help, just let me know.
