Guest Charlie Mouse Posted May 25, 2005 Report Share Posted May 25, 2005 Does anyone know how to make Media Player's Media Library default to the storage card rather than 'My Device'? I had it working and I am pretty sure I changed a registry setting to do it but I did a hard reset yesterday and cant find the setting anymore. It's driving me nuts, I know it should be there somewhere but its not! Could someone have a look in their registry under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer And see if there is a setting somewhere called 'defaultLocation' or something like that. Betaplayer is soooo much better, and the playlist just works properly. WMP10 sucks. I don't know why people are wanting to upgrade to it, as I am disappointed in it. For me, WMP9 was much better.
