Guest usdiver Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Just to let EVERYONE know that I've just got off the phone with orange. After asking them about the update they said they were definately putting it out, but still did not know a date. When I said about the new devices having it, they stated a lot of times they will put something out on a new device, and test or monitor for a time to make sure there are no problems before releasing an update for everyone else. Though we are all fed up waiting, I personally think it is better than getting a new update and having bugs or problems because they couldn't bother sorting it beforehand. Prime example.....Anyone familiar with the xda IIs? I think they've got things worked out now, but at one time I was going to go with that one...as I'm on o2, (as well as use orange a little to keep them happy) but damn the bugs they had at the time...and the new update didn't seem to fix a lot, plus most were unhappy with the o2 active bits that o2 HAS to put on their phones. Thus, I went to the orange c500s. Glad I did now. Now even if I bought an xda IIs, it would be the M2000 version by orange.
