Guest Samsonite Posted June 4, 2005 Report Share Posted June 4, 2005 been playing with the new toy for a couple of days now and have been soft resetting a fair bit whilst i plumb in all the apps (Co-Pilot, Battery Monitor etc) My Acer PDA took about 15 seconds to boot up completely and it seemed the Qtek was taking an age...so i timed it! 45 seconds from hitting the recessed button to Start menu navigation. is this normal? i understand it takes a while to log onto the phone network and what have you but i was curious as to whether the amount of software gubbins loading up affects the boot time...
