"ProMax line of memory cards, which will conform to the latest SD v1.1 system specification"

Errr.... is the JAM SD v1.1 compliant ???

The good news is that the JAM is v1.1 compliant... the bad news... the JAM can take a maximum 2GB card. This is seen in the FAQ section for the JAM on clubimate.com.

Well, device manufacturers have to cover themselves. At the time of the JAM production, 2GB cards were the highest available size. So i-mate could only test the JAM with a 2GB card to verify it would work with that size. They can't state it as working with a 4GB card if they haven't tested it. If I remember correctly, the MPx200 only states that is works with up to 512MB SD cards. However, my 1GB SD works fine in it. There is a chance the 4GB card would work with the JAM, we will just have to wait and see.
