File Name :: JD XII: KDE4WM

Author :: jakobdam

Category :: Computer

Description ::

(The danish version of the homescreen is shown in the animated GIF; the one I've posted here on Modaco is, of course, in english) ;)

Homescreen features:

(As my previous "JD X")

- 2 layer design

- "missed calls" screen

- Unread SMS & MMS & Email

- HIL alarm (REQUIRES HIL ALARM PLUGIN)

- Profile

- All Day events

- Calendar

- Icon MRU

- Supports ALL backround images at 176x156 pixels (optimal size)!

Installation instructions:

1) Install HIL Alarm plugin

http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=200822

2) Reboot your phone

3) Unzip this file, place ALL FILES in the IPSM/Storage/My Documents/Home/ folder

4) Choose "JDK12 UK" and set "Color scheme" and background as standard

5) Done!

How to use:

- Navigate through the menus with arrow up/down -- continue up until the menu disappears. Press down to bring the menu back again

- Set alarm by pressing the joystick until it shows SET. Use left for hours and right for minutes...

- REMEMBER! You can set any background you like! It won't affect the layout or the style (unless the chosen picture is really bad, hehe...)

Enjoy. :D

I really like the way this screen looks in the screenshots but I can't seem to get it to work on my phone.

I'm currently running WM2003 and so I don't have the "IPSM/Storage/My Documents/Home/" path on my system. It reads "Smartphone/Storage/My Documents/Home/" and I copied the xml file and directory of pics to that directory but it doesnt show up on my homescreen menu.

Is there something else I should do to make this work?

Thanks for your help.

I just installed the Screen on my SDA Music and it looks great!

Really nice work.

Didn´t find any bugs in it and so I think im gonna keep this screen for some time. ;)

Hope you´ll make some more of this kind.

I don't even have a home folder in my "My Documents." I'm running wm2003 on my audiovox smt 5600. Am I doing something wrong?
