Guest Charlie Mouse
Just found this on XDA Developers... http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=23233 It's a small bit of software that allows you to plug your jam into any PC (that supports USB Drives i.e XP, 2000 etc.) and the memory card will pop up as a drive letter like a normal USB drive!!! You dont need ActiveSync to be installed ;) PS. Use the last install (the one that is patched for the Magician).
Guest spidermunky
Use the last install (the one that is patched for the Magician). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does the one from the developer's site work now or does it need to be patched? Thanks, Greg
Guest Charlie Mouse
No, as far as I am aware the one on the developers site still doesn't work. You need to download the last version on the thread shown above (or just wait for the developer to release the official version).
Guest GothTeddy
ver 2.02 has been released with magician support ;) about to try it out. [edit] Nice bit of software, but it's painfully slow - getting about 500Kb/s compared to the 8-9Mb/s of my card reader. I can now use Firefox on the work computers and take any downloads I do back home with me. I've also been playing about with Blender through it too. :D Speed wise it seems alright to me, but if I'm copying big files at home I just use my card reader anyway but this software makes it much more convenient. Guest MitchellO
Yeah, it works really well for me too. Only got a few days left on the demo though.
