Guest En_croute
I use MS remote Display to show my MDA Compact on the screen. (It like PcAnywhere). This allows me to type text messages from the PC Keyboard - it's very useful when in the office ;) We cannot use Messenger on our corporate network, all suitable ports are blocked. So Messenger via USB does not work in the office (it does at home). Hence I connect by GPRS. However as soon as I connect to USB, the GPRS disconnects. I have Internet bound connections set to GPRS, and Private Network to "My Work Network", but as Messenger CAN connect by private AND Internet , it always tries to connect via USB, and promptly disconnects from GPRS. :x Any way of getting round this - Messenger by stylus, at work, is not feasible. :D
Guest MitchellO
Can you plug it into the PC first, then connect to the GPRS?
Guest Charlie Mouse
Why not just use MSN Web Messenger (on your desktop PC)? http://webmessenger.msn.com It's Messenger but over the web (using the standard web port)
