Guest Davey Mc Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 Personally I think T-mobile's coverage is rubbish. I can't get t-mobile at home but can get the other three big networks, I can even get 3g! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My girlfiend is with them and i must admit she always has better signal than me now. Obviously it will depend on your area
Guest rilazi Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 I have another problem. I can't unlock mine and nobody is helping me.
Guest shakey68 Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 so to reiterate what was said a few posts ago, has anyone received an M500 from another retailer i.e not OSPS. If they do, I would contemplate cancellaing and reordering from them as the waiting is doing my head in. BUT, I was quite looking forward to the free bluetooth headset which i will lose.
Guest Hax Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) OSPS just told me that they are expecting stock within 3 to 5 working days... *sigh* Might have to go to one of the vendors who have it already - but OSPS's 4months free line rental is still holding on to me... for now.... Guest confused and hungover Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 i wish i could work out how to unsubscribe to this post..... every morning i open my mail to find hundreds of "someone has posted a reply to a topic you have descibed to" ah well, at least i managed to keep up with the thread. people in uk are being treated s*** over this... almost considering selling my M500 to the highest bidder :) :D

I have a cron script checking the coming soon page for changes (it'll disappear from there once its available), it generates a MD5 hash of the page contents, and then emails me when it changes...

Guest confused and hungover Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) don't know if any one has posted this yet but i think you should probably all take a look here... http://www.scancom.co.uk/product.php/1037/...7406a6671197095 seems they have them in stock :) EDIT: c'mon people.... get over there, next day delivery, M500 in your hand :D Edited July 13, 2005 by confused and hungover

I'll let you know if it arrives :) The really annoying thing is that I only live down the road from ScanCom - had I ordered from them I could have collected it on the way home tonight! Guest RazorD Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 I'm actually refreshing this page more than orange...
Guest doyle_am Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 You can get the M500 now (even on upgrade) from scancom.co.uk and haven't found anyone else with them on upgrades yet. They even have stock available if you are a personal customer, whereas OCS have told me they will be open to business users to start with once/if they ever get stock. Mine will be here tomorrow... I'm counting down the hours already! :)

Guest RazorD Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 Yeh, but they're like £99 for upgrade customers.. As lots of places are doing it for free on £30 plans or higher, hopefully it'll be free from Orange, too! :)
Guest doyle_am Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 A nice woman at OCS asked me how much it costs to upgrade through Scancom and when I said £99 she seems quite surprised and commented that it was a very good price for a brand new phone on upgrade. Practically told me to take it from them rather than wait and possibly pay more from Orange direct! Makes you wonder....
Guest Hax Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 Bah - their damned useless OSPS... Just called again to have a more indepth chat with someone there and he told me that they have no confirmed date from Orange of when they'll be receiving stock! I pointed out to them that some sites are now listing the phone as being in stock and that at least one person has had a dispatch confirmation from the place they've bought it from, and all he could come back with was "I can't believe that other companies have the handset in stock before us". *sigh* last time I shall be using OSPS methinks
Guest jclivingston Posted July 13, 2005 Report Posted July 13, 2005 so much for Orange offering the same to existing customers as new I've just been told that only new customers can the M500 No surprise really

If you pay 60 pound a month i assure you that you will get it free, i used to do upgrades
