Don't know about you guys, but I'm finding it very hard to keep up-to-date with all the new releases and updates that are happening everyday. Whaddya reckon to a software release announcements forum? This would just hold announcements, and wouldn't allow for replies, so the software authour would just post a new version - no room for people asking questions, reporting bugs, etc. Good idea? Just posts with a url to the apps homepage, or a link to a thread in software where it's being discussed. It'd be much easier than someone manually keeping "what's new" lists I guess a new user group would need to be created ("developers"?) that anyone who is writing stuff would be added to, to prevent anyone posting stupid stuff in the forum Does phpBB have an option to provide a RSS feed of topics in a forum? That'd let all of us with smartphone sites have a "new software on MoDaCo" box, which would be pretty cool :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
