Windows Mobile kills Treo 600 (allegedly) shocker

I’ve just returned to the Windows Mobile / MoDaCo community after an 18 month or so flirt with another OS model. We had a good relationship and it was a perfectly good communicator but I needed something a little smaller. I therefore opted for the Motorola MPx220. However, the evening before that was delivered the Treo 600 died … completely, utterly & without warning ! (Monty Python moment …. it is no longer, has passed away, has gone to that great mobile phone graveyard etc …) My Treo 600 now sits cold, silent and lonely by my PC …. poor thing !

Was it envy or jealousy ? Could it not cope with another OS model in the house? We’ll probably never know…

(However the MPx220 greeted me with an old friend – as soon as I turned it on the dreaded voicemail icon appeared and, 3 weeks later, it’s still there! I was already aware of the fix mentioned here: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=200256 from my previous experience of the SPV, but that hasn’t worked. I shall have to do a bit more investigation and searching of the forum to see if there is another solution.)

Good to have you back but shame that the Treo gave up the ghost. As I understand it they're still fetching good money second hand...

My bro had his for a year and then sold it for over £200! Now he's got an SEp910i :evil:
