Guest Tunney Posted July 26, 2005 Report Posted July 26, 2005 I've never really done any Smartphone development before but I'm interested in learning. With the release of phones like the Motorola Q and SPV C500 with non-standard screen resolutions, I have a question regarding how UI programming works with Smartphones. Does Smartphone/Visual Studio use use absolute positioning for UI controls (like desktop Visual Studio/MFC programming) or relative positions (like Java/SWT - top, bottom, etc)? I can see how if it uses absolute, pixel-perfect controls then multiple resolutions would cause big problems.
