Guest Looby Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 I've noticed on the Google Earth's site one of the listed requirements is a Broadband connection. Has anyone tried it with a dial-up connection? :|
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Ahh Google Earth. I remember a similar topic by mike-oh days back but I accidentally deleted the entire topic instead of just the double post. Stupid me. Anyway to answer your Q. I have tried Google Earth on my machine and I only have dial-up connection. As expected, images/ terrain takes forever and a half to load but worth the wait. Majestic Mayon. :)
Guest Crobat Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 i have a broadband connection but the program is still so slow :)
Guest simon211175 Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 I use my work's connection and it runs at breakneck speeds :)

Guest mike-oh Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 (edited) SR71 blackbird sweeeet! Next time i'm at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport i'll be sure to nip across to the museum and check it and it's friends out. I still prefer the B2 spotting as that's a real one and not on display :) Good finds tho! *edit with attacheypoo!* how do you like them apples? ;)SR71_and_mahoosive_compass.zip Edited August 19, 2005 by mike-oh

Guest tsutton Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 KMZ... how do I open the file format? :) Thanks,
Guest simon211175 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 If you've downloaded Google Earth it should just be associated to it already and therefore all you need to do is double click on it and it will open up in Google Earth.
