Google Earth

I've noticed on the Google Earth's site one of the listed requirements is a Broadband connection. Has anyone tried it with a dial-up connection? :|

Ahh Google Earth. I remember a similar topic by mike-oh days back but I accidentally deleted the entire topic instead of just the double post. Stupid me.

Anyway to answer your Q. I have tried Google Earth on my machine and I only have dial-up connection. As expected, images/ terrain takes forever and a half to load but worth the wait.

Majestic Mayon. :)

Oh and it's fairly slow on my 2Mbit broadband, it barely uses my available bandwidth.

SR71 blackbird sweeeet! Next time i'm at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport i'll be sure to nip across to the museum and check it and it's friends out.

I still prefer the B2 spotting as that's a real one and not on display :)

Good finds tho!

*edit with attacheypoo!* how do you like them apples? ;)

If you've downloaded Google Earth it should just be associated to it already and therefore all you need to do is double click on it and it will open up in Google Earth.
