Stupidly I assigned the record button to the voice recognition software which i have found to be close to useless. When i change this button to map to another function when pressed it still maps to the voice recog software. ANy ideas how i can set back to original ? Guest uzi_999 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Share Posted August 16, 2005 originally - i.e after a hard reset/when u get the phone/pda new - the record button is already assigned to the voice dial AND also assigned to the voicenotes.. you press it one for voicedial and hold it for voicenotes.. so i suppose the settings for the button mapping changes the buttons 'meaning' only for the long press - hope its not too hard to understand....
