The website gives you the chance to have a full cosmetic fix performed on the phone but would they do it if there was nothing else wrong with the phone (at the customers cost of course)? I ask because I've only had my MDA Compact for a couple of weeks and I've managed to scratch the screen so I want to be able to get it repaired sometime in the future. On a related note, I sent my C500 back for repair and it was returned today looking brand new - in fact despite the notes enclosed, I'm sure it is a new handset as it has a different IMEI number - and all the celophane is on the screen and IR port.
