Guest lutzh Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 i am also sticking to caller2picture - had that on p800 and loved to see my boss' ugly face popup when he called me... all the othet things regarding outlook, notepad etc. are great to - but caller2picture is about the show. think about what you show people, when they wanna see the phone: mediaplayer movie & mp3, the pictures of your kids(mature people like me with 34...), pictures of your girl (for the twens, and p***stuff for those under 20. little websurfing - and caller2picture would be great when friends ask about the phone - just call me and see the fat man popping up when your call comes in :-).... cheers, lutz
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Hey guys you're all missing the BIG picture I can sum it up in one word WORMS!!!! ;)
Guest MBoden Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 But someone is already doing worms (and snails) , and i don't have the time to code all that , i have a 12 hour job as well
Guest yatpeak Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I reckon Word and Excel would be best, although any text writing/reading program would be good. Even notepad.

Guest HelloDave Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 It's been said many times, but I don't remember seeing it in this thread - a task manager. PLEASE! ;) A pdf viewer would be nice, but that's more a commercial app, and would pobably need more power than the SPV has; it's slow enough on my PC! The ability to record phone conversations (as Orange claim you can in the manual) would be nice. Another commercial program methinks, but a proper Media player would be excellent, one that could actually fast forward, pause and rewind and display movies in landscape format for proper fullscreen viewing.
Guest Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 How about a program so that one can send files via IR to another phone.
Guest DJHope Posted January 22, 2003 Report Posted January 22, 2003 Yeh i could do with that, someone sent me a picture from their t68i and my phone recieved it fine! However i was madly looking for a way to send it back because she deleted the picture for some reason and almost had a heart attack when it wasnt their, thats a pretty stupid thing to miss out, recieve but no send, DOH! I rekon the sendo implementation would have been so much more feature rich, they were going to release witha Java VM and loads more stuff than orange ;) DJ Hope
