c500 gmail stops at 346 msgs

Hi everyone,

Can someone explain or help with this problem ?

I check my gmail with my spv c500 and all works fine for me until a while ago :o

when i start checking it says for example downloading .. from 350 messages but it won't show new messages anymore. Because i was sure there was new mail i logged in to gmail and indeed there was mail. After deleting few mails it started receiving new mails again on the c500. I now found out that the problem starts at 346 messages. When i delete a few mails again in gmail i can receive again until the 346 is reached again. then it stops receiving new messages from gmail :(

can anyone please help me how to solve this one ??

Maybe your memory on your phone is full. I use the miniSD to store all my emails

Hi , thanks for this suggestion but i doubt if it isthe memmory from the phone cause when i delete some mails in gmail online the phone starts downloading new messages again (without doing anything on phone) until it reaches the 346 again.

I have configured it so that it only downloads the headers but i don't know if it stores them on sd card or phone cause i have no idea where or how to set this or how to check this setting.

I know that on my C500 i used a program that i found which changed the default location where email is stored, to my Storage Card instead. It worked really good, and i think i found it here on Modaco, so try do a search. YOu could open a browser and check if all ends up in your phone or on the SD card to start with. I have a C600 now :)
