Guest BrAGoL Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 thanks for the info... Hi, every one AutoFlight 4.1.0 final is released. Thanks you all for trial and feedback information.
Guest cyberhorse Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 thanks for the info... Hi BrAGoL, I have improved Nine Way Keypad software according your suggestion, but there is a little problem about mimicing left soft when at home screen. I am going to overcome this problem and release new version 2.0 recently.
Guest adambateman Posted June 28, 2006 Report Posted June 28, 2006 Thanks Islanti to remind me. I would add a new thread about version 4. There is some changes between v4.0 and v4beta. I am too busy. The last task, 12th task of QVGA or 8th task of non-QVGA, is reserved for appointments from Calendar program. You can insert a string sign into the title of an appointment so as to AutoFlight can switch flight mode on/off or profiles according the date and time of the appointment. For example, insert "#f#" to title of the appointment, to have autoflight switch flight mode on at the time of the appointment start, and switch flight mode off at the time of the appointment end. All string sign is listed below: #f# switches flight mode on/off #p# power off #r# Reset #s# switches silent/normal #l# switches Loud/normal #m# switches meeting/normal #a# switches automatic/normal How do you enter the string above to the appointment title, I have tried several ways but can't get it to work, can you give an example for the appointment "Test" going into silent, is it Test#s# or Test"#s#" Thanks

Guest oldSAP Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Yes, it is Test#s#. More details you can go to: http://www.anycities.com/user/inputshow/autoflightmanual.htm Hi cyberhorse, ive tested the PPC version but it says "this is not a valid WinCE software"
Guest cyberhorse Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 Hi cyberhorse, ive tested the PPC version but it says "this is not a valid WinCE software" Hi oldSAP, If your Pocket PC's OS is WM5.0, you must download Smartphone & Pocket PC 5.0 installation file. Otherwise, tell me what type is your Pocket PC.

Guest cyberhorse Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 My phone is XDA mini wm2003. I downloaded this file: autoflightppcb1en.cab Thank you for your reply. I will try to compile it again for Pocket PC. By now, its program was the same of Smartphone. However it worked well on Pocket PC emultors.
Guest cyberhorse Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 My phone is XDA mini wm2003. I downloaded this file: autoflightppcb1en.cab Did you tried "autoflightvppcb1en.exe" file? I just have test on PPC 2003 emulators. The result is that the EXE file can be installed but not CAB file.

The memory usage of autoflight in my PPC is 15.90kb "The hotkey of speaking time is double clicking recorder key." - this doesnt seem to work on my xda mini. Edited July 3, 2006 by oldSAP

I am very glad to know from your post that AutoFlight v4.2Beta1 can run on PPC basically. About problem of speaking time by double clicking recorder key, i think there must be difference between PPC emulators and PPC devices. On emulators, the recorder key is not any function. I don't know how does it on devices. Maybe it function as recorder or can be redirected to other functions? Can you tell me more details about that key? Or, can you give me other suggestion to set hotkey of speaking time? Thanks advanced.

Meaning it can be programmed to launch any application. It may have an effect on your time speaking capability. Some suggestions: 1.Since there are 12 task options, why not include timed sms sending in your options. It would be a great addition to autoflight. 2. For the time speaking capability, why not make the function itself separate from the autoflight.exe so that PPC users can move it to \Windows\Program Files folder and then map it to any hardware key they wish. ill post more suggestions/comments if i find any... BTW i posted your app in my BLOG HERE

Guest oldSAP Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Thanks you again for your reply and great suggestions. And i am looking forward your more suggestions/comments. :) One more suggestion: When i use task managers like wisbar lite or vbar, the "X" or "OK" button at the upper right corner of the autoflight program becomes "Close" instead of "Minimize" Hopefully you can find a way to overcome this by making it a 'HIDE" command because sometimes we mistakenly click this instead of the Hide command at the bottom left corner of the autoflight program.

OK, i will accept this suggestion in the next version. Thanks you.
Guest oldSAP Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 how come my ppc doesnt turn off the flightmode at 7:20AM? This is my screenshot of autoflight:
Guest adambateman Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 Cyberhorse, I'm using version 4.1.1 final and have noticed the handbrake function working differently, on older versions if I was on a call the handbrake function would display the number 5 and wait until the call had ended before counting down and switching off etc, now if I'm on a call at the time the handbrake screen shows but still counts down and turns the phone off, is this the correct function or not? Thanks
Guest cyberhorse Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 how come my ppc doesnt turn off the flightmode at 7:20AM? This is my screenshot of autoflight: Thank you for your feedback of the case. Does it happened accidentally or always? If it is accidentally, Maybe i need some conditions of the case.

Thanks Yes, the function of delaying to execute switching task during calling was canceled in v4.1.0 final because there are still some problem been not resolved.
Guest oldSAP Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 Thank you for your feedback of the case. Does it happened accidentally or always? If it is accidentally, Maybe i need some conditions of the case. It happens all the time, unfortunately. It would be better, IMHO, if you separate the Flightmode ON and Flightmode OFF functions.

Hi oldSAP, I have just released v4.2 Beta2 on my pages. I have repaired registration's problem and modified interfaces included left up button on every dialog box. But i have not debugged the case you mentioned in the last post. I suggest you to test if the sleep mode (turn off power automatically by system) result in that case. I am sorry i have not PPC device, so i can not test it on device.

Guest paulhbartlett Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Downloaded and installed and think its a great application. Using it on a C550 2 things: I always have BT on as my car kit uses it. When I switch the phone to flight mode at night using the power button it switches BT and reception off (no blinking lights in the dark). When using autoflight to automatically switch to flight mode BT stays on (blue blinking light) When setting the alarm it doesn't use some of the standard ring tones. I use Trill ring but autoflight doesn't pick it up. I can't find where the phone stores the sound to copy it across.

You can try to add another task to reset system after the task of flight mode on. I had got report from some users that this problem may be overcame by restarting system. You also can try to add a task to switch BT via macro file of MacroRecorder software, which is my last product released recently . 2. AutoFlight can pick up both *.wav and *.mid ring tong files. But there are two conditions: First, the file format, such as bitrate, frequency and so on, must be accorded with system's specification; Secondly, the file must be saved in those folders: (AutoFlight installed folder)\Alarms, \Windows, (Storage)\My Documents, (Storage)\Application Data and (Storage Card)\My Documents.
